podcast in chicago my husband has an annual year in banquet his company in chicago
(00:00:56):
and this year he was inducted into the company's hall of fame so it was a big
(00:01:03):
exciting thing big night for him and the company put us in this huge suite so i am
(00:01:09):
just taking advantage i'm in this huge suite
(00:01:12):
and i feel like it's the perfect place to be doing the podcast and i'm also working
(00:01:18):
on a new training for you i will be announcing that soon of where you can get that
(00:01:24):
training so just know something exciting is coming so i've been thinking a lot
(00:01:30):
about manifesting over the last month or so you know i'm always thinking about it
(00:01:34):
this is the manifesting in real estate podcast you know i love manifesting and
(00:01:39):
continuously learning about it and living it
(00:01:42):
and teaching you about it and one thing really struck me over the last month i
(00:01:49):
shared with you in my new year's episode that last year was a really good year for
(00:01:54):
me it was wonderful it just wasn't overly exciting because i wasn't going for any
(00:02:01):
really big goals or really big dreams i was soaking in all of the really big goals
(00:02:06):
and dreams that i
(00:02:08):
had manifested.
(00:02:09):
And so it was a great year for that.
(00:02:12):
And now I was realizing with these new big dreams and big goals that I've written
(00:02:18):
for myself,
(00:02:19):
I love them because it's not just about getting there.
(00:02:23):
And I want this to be like
(00:02:26):
as least cliche as possible but i know it's a common thing anyways but it really is
(00:02:32):
about the journey and who you are becoming on the journey to that goal to that
(00:02:38):
dream and that's the experience that's the part that when you can start to enjoy
(00:02:45):
that
(00:02:46):
Life is so good.
(00:02:48):
And life is really, really exciting, even just going after those big goals and big dreams.
(00:02:55):
And when you have these big things,
(00:02:57):
big desires that you're going after,
(00:03:00):
it requires a little more manifestation on your part.
(00:03:04):
And of course, it requires more action on your part, too.
(00:03:08):
And in case you're new here or you're just getting started with manifesting,
(00:03:11):
what is manifesting?
(00:03:12):
Manifesting is creating your reality through your habitual thoughts,
(00:03:17):
beliefs,
(00:03:19):
energy,
(00:03:19):
and your actions.
(00:03:21):
So really, we are all manifesting all of the time.
(00:03:25):
We are all manifesting 100% of the time.
(00:03:27):
But are we manifesting intentionally?
(00:03:30):
That's the question.
(00:03:31):
And that's where we want to be.
(00:03:33):
We want to be where we are manifesting intentionally,
(00:03:38):
getting clear on where we want to go,
(00:03:40):
what your desires are,
(00:03:41):
those big goals and dreams,
(00:03:43):
and start creating a life towards those things.
(00:03:47):
Because if it's not intentional,
(00:03:49):
we are ending up who knows where,
(00:03:52):
wherever our programming,
(00:03:53):
our past beliefs,
(00:03:54):
our limiting beliefs are going to take us.
(00:03:57):
And how do we overcome this programming?
(00:03:59):
How do we overcome those limiting beliefs so we are not just led down that limiting path?
(00:04:06):
How do we start being really intentional to go after and manifest the dream's desires?
(00:04:13):
We do it by thinking better thoughts.
(00:04:16):
More intentional thoughts.
(00:04:18):
Rewiring those beliefs by choosing the beliefs that we want to instill.
(00:04:25):
Changing the energy.
(00:04:27):
Changing what we believe is possible for us.
(00:04:31):
these different things we can call them manifesting techniques these different
(00:04:36):
manifesting techniques are something that we have to be really diligent about we
(00:04:43):
continuously do them because that's how it's going to shape and create the reality
(00:04:50):
that we want
(00:04:51):
You can learn about them.
(00:04:53):
You can feel like you know exactly what it is or how to do it.
(00:04:58):
You can try them a couple of times.
(00:05:00):
You can try them several times.
(00:05:02):
But if it's not something you're doing consistently, it's not going to work the same.
(00:05:08):
because i wasn't going after anything really big this last year i wasn't doing my
(00:05:15):
usual consistent manifesting techniques manifesting routines okay totally honest i
(00:05:23):
really wasn't because there was nothing that i was going after that i felt like i
(00:05:27):
needed to do those consistently especially because i have been intentionally
(00:05:33):
manifesting for
(00:05:36):
20 years,
(00:05:36):
I mean,
(00:05:37):
forever,
(00:05:38):
I have been manifesting and doing these different things to keep my headspace and
(00:05:45):
to keep my thoughts and my energy and everything aligned and in the right place for manifesting.
(00:05:52):
So,
(00:05:53):
you know,
(00:05:53):
doing all of these things,
(00:05:54):
plus I'm a teacher of these things,
(00:05:57):
thinking like,
(00:05:58):
I got it,
(00:05:59):
you know,
(00:05:59):
I already know it.
(00:06:00):
And I don't need to do it all the time.
(00:06:05):
Kind of like, you know, thinking it's a set it and forget it.
(00:06:07):
And sometimes it is.
(00:06:08):
There's a lot of things that are,
(00:06:11):
once you get them really ingrained in you,
(00:06:14):
yes,
(00:06:14):
there are things that will start to manifest for you just because your beliefs are
(00:06:20):
already set in that really good place.
(00:06:22):
But there are still always going to be things that pop up.
(00:06:27):
things that come back, some programming or some old beliefs that come back.
(00:06:31):
So when I started writing out these new big dreams that I have,
(00:06:38):
I started to feel that resistance again.
(00:06:40):
I started to feel those limiting beliefs coming back.
(00:06:45):
And it shocked me a little bit because there were some limiting beliefs I thought
(00:06:50):
that I conquered forever ago.
(00:06:52):
And it just goes to show I have to be diligent in those manifesting techniques and
(00:07:00):
those routines and things
(00:07:01):
that i do on a regular basis to keep my mind my energy right think about it like
(00:07:08):
this it is winter time which is sick season you know the sickness season which
(00:07:15):
means it's really important to strengthen your immune system and wash your hands
(00:07:22):
We all know that.
(00:07:23):
We all learned that.
(00:07:24):
And we all know the science behind it and everything.
(00:07:27):
But what if we were treating,
(00:07:31):
washing our hands to keep us from sickness,
(00:07:33):
like we were treating manifesting to help us get to our desires?
(00:07:39):
Sometimes we think, well, we know it.
(00:07:41):
We know that we should be thinking better thoughts.
(00:07:45):
We know that we should be having better energy around things.
(00:07:48):
We know that we should be diligent on visioning and journaling about what we want
(00:07:57):
to see and our desires.
(00:07:59):
But because we know it, that should be good enough.
(00:08:05):
So now think about that, how it would be like washing your hands.
(00:08:09):
Yeah,
(00:08:09):
well,
(00:08:09):
we know that it's good to wash your hands and we know that it's good to keep your
(00:08:14):
immune system right and to have these vitamins and eat well and everything.
(00:08:20):
We know it, so that should be good enough.
(00:08:23):
That will help me.
(00:08:25):
Does that make any sense?
(00:08:28):
Not at all.
(00:08:30):
Just because we know it,
(00:08:31):
just because we know the science,
(00:08:33):
it does not mean that it is going to help us from getting sick.
(00:08:37):
We actually have to do the things in order to help keep us healthy.
(00:08:43):
Now apply that to manifesting.
(00:08:45):
Just because you learned about manifesting,
(00:08:48):
just because you've done it a couple of times in the past,
(00:08:52):
it doesn't mean it's going to help you get to your next goal.
(00:08:56):
It doesn't mean it's going to help you get to that life that you desire.
(00:09:00):
It's something that we have to do regularly.
(00:09:04):
It's something that we have to put into our routine.
(00:09:08):
Think about and be really intentional about.
(00:09:12):
And there will be different seasons.
(00:09:14):
So right now, this is the sixth season.
(00:09:17):
We want to be extremely diligent about washing our hands and taking care of our
(00:09:21):
immune system and doing all of the things to strengthen our immune system so we
(00:09:25):
stay healthy.
(00:09:27):
And then there are times where sickness is not quite as prevalent and we still have
(00:09:33):
our set routine of washing our hands after everything,
(00:09:37):
but maybe we can be a little less diligent on keeping our immune system right.
(00:09:43):
Right now I'm going to be traveling week on,
(00:09:46):
week off,
(00:09:46):
week on,
(00:09:47):
week off for the next month and a half.
(00:09:50):
Winter time plus traveling with a bunch of people plus lack of sleep maybe from jet
(00:09:59):
lag and all of that.
(00:10:00):
You better believe I am going above and beyond to keep myself healthy.
(00:10:06):
I'm taking my regular supplements and vitamins that I usually do,
(00:10:09):
but then I'm also adding in some new things.
(00:10:12):
Like I'm taking this vitamin C, liposomal vitamin C with propolis.
(00:10:18):
This is not something I take in the summer when I'm not traveling at all because I
(00:10:21):
feel like I don't really need to.
(00:10:23):
I'm good.
(00:10:23):
But when I'm in a season where there could be other factors that I need to
(00:10:30):
strengthen for,
(00:10:31):
I'm going to take it.
(00:10:33):
Same thing with manifesting.
(00:10:36):
There are going to be different seasons where maybe you don't have to be having all
(00:10:41):
of the additional manifesting techniques,
(00:10:44):
but you still want to keep your routine regular manifesting activities in play.
(00:10:52):
And then there are seasons where you are going after something big or there's
(00:10:56):
something you really want to manifest,
(00:10:58):
something that is more urgent or a current goal.
(00:11:03):
Then you're going to supplement with even more of those manifesting techniques.
(00:11:09):
And I know that I'm being a little bit vague by just saying manifesting techniques
(00:11:12):
because in this podcast,
(00:11:14):
in my trainings,
(00:11:15):
there's so many things I talk about of what those things can be and should be for you.
(00:11:22):
So you can go back and find those other episodes too.
(00:11:26):
But to give you an idea,
(00:11:27):
speaking from my own current experience,
(00:11:32):
instead of just journaling when I feel like it,
(00:11:35):
I started adding journaling back in to my regular morning routine.
(00:11:41):
And that's another thing, having a regular morning routine.
(00:11:44):
Last year, I had a routine, but it wasn't entirely intentional.
(00:11:52):
And this year,
(00:11:53):
I am so intentional with my morning routine of the things I want to do to get my energy,
(00:12:00):
my mind,
(00:12:01):
my beliefs,
(00:12:01):
and my actions right.
(00:12:03):
Starting out the day with all of the things that are going to be important in my
(00:12:09):
success in reaching my next goals.
(00:12:13):
I've been really watching my thoughts and what I'm saying,
(00:12:19):
noticing what thoughts come through and immediately assessing,
(00:12:24):
is this something I want to be thinking?
(00:12:25):
Does it help me towards my goal or is it not?
(00:12:28):
And then tweaking that as I can and having backup affirmations,
(00:12:34):
having affirmations and beliefs that I want to instill and rewire my mind with.
(00:12:39):
having those at the ready so whenever I have something that is negative or what I
(00:12:43):
don't really want to be thinking,
(00:12:45):
I can come in immediately and start saying those affirmations for myself.
(00:12:51):
I've been watching what I'm listening to, what I'm watching.
(00:12:55):
Does this make me feel good?
(00:12:57):
Is this the best use of my time?
(00:12:59):
Does it help me grow?
(00:13:00):
Does it also help me think bigger?
(00:13:03):
I've been listening a lot to Enya,
(00:13:06):
of course my favorite,
(00:13:08):
and my Money Manifesting music playlist.
(00:13:12):
I started prioritizing movement.
(00:13:15):
Last year, I feel like I did not move as much as I wanted to.
(00:13:20):
And that was very symbolic as well.
(00:13:23):
It felt like it was a little stagnant.
(00:13:27):
So I am prioritizing movement this year.
(00:13:31):
in a way to help my body, of course, but also that changes your energy instantly.
(00:13:38):
When you start to move within five minutes,
(00:13:41):
probably less,
(00:13:42):
but within five minutes,
(00:13:43):
you feel a significant shift and that energy helps to inspire me so that I can do
(00:13:50):
more and have the excitement for more.
(00:13:54):
I started reading more books that align with my purpose.
(00:13:59):
I'm doing a lot more visualization and seeking out images and experience and things
(00:14:06):
that are going to inspire me.
(00:14:10):
to dream bigger so you see with this nothing on this list is something that's
(00:14:16):
totally different these are all pretty basic things but that's where the trap can
(00:14:22):
be sometimes because we think oh well we know that and it's not a big deal and
(00:14:27):
sometimes I do that and it should work anyways or it doesn't work
(00:14:32):
it does work but you do have to do the reps you do have to continuously do the work
(00:14:39):
if you want to create an intentional life you have to take those intentional steps
(00:14:46):
it does work and i promise you it is so worth it and the beautiful part is it's not
(00:14:52):
just about what you are going to manifest
(00:14:56):
Start to enjoy the journey.
(00:14:58):
Start to enjoy who you're becoming in the very now.
(00:15:03):
