Welcome back to another episode, it is Becca, your favorite manifesting and real estate coach. In last week's episode, I spoke to those realtors that feel like they're doing everything feel like they tried everything, and nothing is working or nothing sticking. Or you're not getting the results in the time that you want or the type of results that you want. If that feels like you, make sure to go back and listen to that episode, where I give you the exact tips and advice that I would have. If I was talking to myself back when I felt like that was me that I was trying all the things and nothing was working. Now in today's episode, I want to speak to the agents that feel like Hell yeah, my business is moving. Things are working, I'm feeling great and making the type of money I want to make. But maybe your lifestyle is not just there yet, maybe you're working so much. And the things are working, which is awesome. And that dream lifestyle to go along with it is just not there yet. If you've already hit six figures, if you've already hit multiple, six figures, and you're just wanting more you're wanting to grow, you're wanting to scale, and you're wanting to have that lifestyle freedom.
Let's talk about it. This last weekend, we finally went kayaking on the river that we live on. And it was so much fun. And so many ideas came to me so many lessons really, that I was like I have to share this. This is exactly exactly what it feels like in business and manifesting. If you kayak or canoe, often you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about here and feel into how this applies to your business specifically. But I'm telling you, this is going to completely shift your perspective. So as I'm kayaking, I'm kayaking up river and I'm super excited because I've been wanting to kayak for a long time. And so I'm like, I have all the energy and I'm going and going and going and we're going up river, which of course is a lot harder than going down river. But it doesn't matter because I was so excited. This is exactly what I want to be doing. And I have the energy to kayak up river, okay. And so we're going and going going for a long time like kayaking up river for at least an hour. And as I get to closer to the hour mark, even though I still had the energy to kayak, I started to get blisters on my hands. So even though mentally, like my energy was great, and I could go forever, what felt like forever. Physically, I started to get these blisters from the oars on my hands from keeping going, then we reach that hour mark and we decide to turn around and go down river. And when I tell you that is such a different experience, especially after going up river for so long, it was so wonderful. So relaxing, still just as fulfilling of being on the river. But I'm not having to do all of that hard work going up river. I'm still paddling every once in a while. But it's really more about steering. And I'm just taking everything in. And I'm still going just as fast, if not faster without the paddling because I'm going down river, let's get into how you can apply these same things, these same principles into your business to have the most enjoyable and successful growth in your business. When you start in real estate, you start to feel like you have to gain that momentum you're going up stream, okay. And you're having to do that work. It's a lot of work, but you're excited about it because you are making this happen. And so when things start to work, you're feeling so excited because it's working. So you just keep going you keep the strategy going, and you feel that momentum building, which is all wonderful and amazing. And here's what happens when you continue to feel like you have to go up Dream in order to gain success in your business in order to grow your business, if you feel like you have to do that constantly, what's going to happen is if you don't get tired, mentally, like if your energy doesn't go down mentally, something will eventually happen in the physical. So whereas I was kayaking upstream, and I got blisters on my hands, something will physically happen in your business in your life, that will show you that this is no longer sustainable. This looks like burnout, this looks like contracts falling this looks like losing clients, this looks like having something happen in the other side of your life, being in your relationships in your you, with your kids, or with your spouse, or with your friends and your family, or something happening with your health or something happening on the spiritual side of your life. So as the income is growing, as the numbers in your bank account, are growing, and you're getting more and more clients more and more closings, take a look and see if there are any other indications that you are trying to move upstream, that you're trying to constantly go upstream, if something else in your life is showing up, if you can think of something right now and you're like, okay, yeah, this is totally a red flag of I am trying to move upstream constantly. It's okay, because the real estate world, I feel like the majority of people are moving upstream, like they're trying to paddle a river. And it's not working for them, but it's working in their business. So they feel like it's working. But then there's so many of these other areas in their lives that are falling apart because of it. And maybe it's not even falling apart. But it's just the fact that there are these other areas in their lives that are not being fulfilled, and that are not being lived out to the very best and most exciting and the way that they actually dream about their lives, you're doing it, you found what works. And now you've had the momentum, so you're able to turn around and move down river, you're able to move into flow. And this is where manifesting in real estate comes into play so well, because this is where you see this in action. Like being in the flow state and how you can actually be more productive, you can work less, and still make more while having the lifestyle that you dream of when I decided that I only wanted to work 1015 hours at max each week, and travel 100 plus days out of the year. And I wanted to grow my business to more money and more clients than I could ever imagine. All at the same time. It seemed so unrealistic. And yet it happened and it was easier than ever. Why? Because of this flow state because I was moving down river. So back to the kayaking analogy, or the real life kayaking example that I have, when I'm kayaking down the river. I am barely paddling. And yet, I'm making it to my destination faster than it took me to go up river. And this flow state in your business comes from, you know, getting rid of those limiting beliefs. So the beliefs are bringing you to your goal even faster without any of these blocks. It's the confidence that you have knowing that you're the expert knowing that the things you're doing actually matter and have a good return on investment. It's trusting that everything is working in your favor. And trusting that clients ideal clients are coming to you that you are attracting your ideal clients. And they are ready and motivated to work with you and to refer you. It's having the systems in place, knowing that those are working for you so that you can focus on only what you want to focus on. You can focus on your zone of genius. You focus on your money making activities, and then all other areas of your life are flourishing or being fulfilled. And you are living out your dream you're creating the life that you dream of. When we talk about ease and effortlessness and working way less and making more money. When you're not experiencing that when you're only experiencing the hustle equals more money. It's hard to imagine what that's like. It's hard to imagine what ease and effortlessness would be because you're working so many hours You're working so hard right now to get the success that you've had. So think of it like kayaking down river. And it's not that you're doing zero work, it's just that you are only doing the work that needs to be done. And only the work that you want to do when you're going down river, you're basically steering every once in a while, so you're not going into the side of the bank. And then everyone smile, maybe you're adding some paddles in if you want to. This is how your business should be going. If you're working 40 plus hours a week, you shouldn't be I mean, if you have already had the success, if you already have the client base, and you're making really good money, there's no reason for you to be working 40 plus hours a week, there's no reason for you to be working 30 plus hours a week. And that 20 hours a week is really the sweet spot for if you have been working so so so many hours, getting down to 20 hours a week. And then as you go from there, you can take off hours, even a little bit more bit by bit and see what you're comfortable with start to delegate what you don't want to do. remember being in that flow state is doing the things that you want to do. And steering, making sure that the business is on track for what you want to do making sure that you are continuing that growth. Here are my top tips for you. One, figure out what your expenses are, and make sure that each one of them is valid, each one of them is giving you a return on investment, or is really, really needed in your business to help you be productive to help you scale and grow. If it's not, I want you to cut it out. The reason I have this as my number one tip is because so many of my clients, my coaching clients, I see them trying to work so hard and make a lot of money because their expenses have grown. As they've grown in their business, they thought that they had to take on more things and pay for more things, as they were earning more money as they were scaling and growing. But it's just not necessary, you can keep your business really lean, so that your business expenses are really only 10 to 15% of your profit. So whatever revenue is coming in, it should be 20%. At most, unless you're running an a massive team or brokerage, there's no reason that your expenses should be over that 20% mark. And there's so many things that I can share with you of how to keep your expenses down and why to keep them down, and how to grow your business without those big expenses. But I will save that for another episode. So really take a look at your profit and loss and take an inventory of what's working what's needed and what is not what is just a waste. Because this will take so much pressure off of you for having to paddle up river feeling like you have to hustle, this will take off so much pressure. And if you think about it, so you're making 200 300,000 a year. But if your expenses are like 70 500,000 plus of that amount, that's like, you might as well not even have all of those extra clients and closings that are taking up time. Because you're just shoveling that away to expenses. Next, take an inventory of what you're doing every single day. I want you to go an entire week writing down everything that you're doing. This will include both your professional and your personal life, just write down everything that you're doing. So you're able to take a look back and see how are you spending your time? And is it worth it? Is it productive? Is it actually helping? And are there things that you can get rid of or that you can delegate to someone else, even if a lot of these things on your list aren't hard and don't necessarily feel like hustling. If they're adding to your workload if they're adding to just the time that gets taken up in your life, it's gonna start feeling overwhelming, and not very sustainable. The more you're able to create space and your schedule for what you actually want to do for what you actually enjoy. The more you'll be able to see and experience flow state in your life and more and more of that
you'll gain momentum in the flow state. So you'll start to see the beauty of it and how easy and fun that it can be and how you can really grow your business. In that space. The net cuz tip is do some work around money around your relationship with money, your money mindset, and take a look back at what your story is with money. And wherever you are with this, like whatever that means to you taking a look at what that is, and then figuring out what you want it to be. Where do you want to be with money? How do you want to feel with money? How do you want to think of how to make money? Do you want to feel like I can make more money in flow state? Or do you want to make Do you want to feel like I'm going to make money only if I work harder, I think we know which one we would like to believe. And the reason it's so important is because our beliefs are shaping our life. So your belief around money and how you can receive it, how you can make it how you can hold it is shaping who you are, your life, your business right now, this talk around money and manifesting, you know, is my specialty my expertise. And I love it so much because it totally transformed, not just my business, but the lifestyle that I have allowed myself and stepped into today. And where this all started for me was with a coach. My last tip is reevaluate every single thing that you're doing for lead generating. So if you're a person that is only doing a few things to lead, generate, really make sure that those are aligning with who you are, and that they feel totally good inside when you're doing them or when you're planning them. Make sure that when you're thinking about these lead generating activities, that it doesn't feel like resistance, it doesn't feel like you're having to paddle uphill when you're doing them. Because, again, that just won't be sustainable for the long term. Even if the things are working really, really well for you. I want to make sure that we're doing them in a way that aligns with your values that aligns with your goals. And that feels good to you when you're doing them. Because that's actually how you're going to get the most business. I personally like to have three main things that are my main money making activities. This to me is easiest to break down between what will I do weekly or on a bi weekly basis, a monthly basis and a quarterly basis. If you are someone that has so many things to lead generate so so so many things that you can barely keep track of them automatically, that usually will feel like you're paddling upstream. So either having those things automated, delegating those things, you know, really putting systems in place for those so that you only have really three things to be focusing on that take your energy that Are you actively doing them. If you are doing activities, that you cannot pinpoint that that is actually bringing you business, but it makes you feel good because the real estate world says that you should have XYZ or do XYZ. Just take it out. I mean, like delete it. If there if you find out later on that you want to add it in, that's fine, but you may delete it and find out I'm getting more business because I'm staying focused on my money making activities on these very few lead generating activities and you're getting more business than ever before. Then you may not ever really put that into your strategy. But if something is taking up a lot of time, and you're not able to directly link it to your last several closings, let's get rid of it. Okay, wait, I wanted to add one more bonus tip. Bonus tip is add more things in your calendar that you enjoy that you like live for. So for me that's traveling, it's always traveling, if it's traveling for you, go to Google Flights, find some awesome flight deals, and put it in your schedule and just go it doesn't matter what time it is, it doesn't matter how much business you have, put it in your schedule or for you, if it's something else, you know, looking up at class or finding a certain hobby, or doing something that you enjoy with your family, schedule it like just get it in the calendar, schedule it, pay for it so that you're actually going to go or just by doing things that you love every single day, every single week. So you're falling in love with the life that you have now, which will create an even better life as you go on. It just compounds. Like if you start falling in love with the life that you have right now and what you're creating with the money that you are creating with the clients that you're serving, you're going to begin to get that more and more and more. What happens is when we're so focused on business, and just focusing on making the money, but you're not using it for anything that you actually enjoy, it doesn't build the same momentum in your business. Like if you've been telling yourself, okay, as soon as I hit $500,000, that's when I'm going to start living the life that I want to live, it's not going to work because you're going to feel so burned out at that time. And it's going to be so much more work at that time because your business is going to be so big, it's going to be a lot harder than to figure out how to navigate paring things down working less hours delegating things, because you have just pushed yourself so hard to get to where that 500,000 is and then will you even be able to enjoy it. So
the biggest bonus tip is to enjoy your life now do the things that you want to do now and that will compound and create more greatness in your business.
