Today, I want to talk about who you are beyond real estate because you are so much more than just a realtor. And real estate can be super all consuming. Right, all of the different hours that we have to put in, we're on kind of 24/7 and the market never sleeps, you know all of these things, make it so that sometimes we are fully consumed by real estate. And just thinking about our role as a realtor. And if you're doing really well, this can be great, you know, it can feel really fun, that you just immerse yourself in this role of a realtor because you're successful, you're getting clients, you're getting all of these wins, you're making money and feeling on top of the world. And even on the opposite side of the spectrum, it can be so consuming, if you're not doing well in real estate, and you're doing everything possible to get your business up and running. And to think of ways of how you can get business and how you can have clients be successful in real estate. And you jump into this role of like, I have to be a realtor 24 700% of the time to show people, okay, this is who I am, this is what I'm doing. And maybe that is what will make me successful. So any place on the spectrum here can be dangerous for becoming entirely consumed as a real estate agent. And what real estate agents do and what real estate agents talk about instead of being uniquely you, instead of focusing on your specific gifts, and your specific likes and dislikes, and what hobbies you want to have and what accomplishments you want to have outside of real estate and what you enjoy doing. What you want to do, like why are you doing real estate? Is it just because you like homes and people? There's got to be a bigger reason? Why are you doing real estate? Why do you want to make the type of money that you do? It's because there's something beyond real estate. It's because there's more to your life than just real estate.

I am so guilty of getting caught up in playing the realtor role. And what's funny is I dealt with this. Really when I was at my lowest in real estate, I just completely immersed myself in the real estate world as a realtor. And like that became my main personality trait. And that became my main focus. Every single goal, every single dream was just pointing towards real estate and I was holding on to it so hard that I really lost all of the things that I enjoyed. And that causes burnout so quickly. And here's what we know about manifesting. Here's what we know about the energy of attraction is when you are in that amazing energy and doing what you feel is your purpose, doing what you love, enjoying the heck out of your life. You see the things you're wanting to manifest, manifest at a faster speed. The things you desire are showing up to you and you're like, I have no idea how this is happening. I'm just having like the time of my life. And this is why it is so important to focus on continuing to do those things you love. Having those dreams outside of real estate and pursuing other things other than just real estate. I can't even tell you the amount of times I have asked other agents like Hey, so what do you like to do for fun or what other things are you into? And they have Oh, absolutely no answer. They're like, Oh, you know, just working, or just real estate or real estate is live. And it's like, okay, I love the passion for the business. But is that sustainable? And who are you without real estate, there's a lot of misconception about showing yourself outside of real estate, whether it be in person, or social media, or whatever people think they have to always have their real estate face on. And I think it's the complete opposite. People love to see you. And what you're doing outside of real estate is so much more interesting than just just sold, just listed all of those things on social media, you want to be authentically you. And that will attract your type of clients that will attract clients that see you like you and want to work with you. Show your personality, show your hobbies, show your passions, show your family, I mean, show everything and that will attract the most loyal people to you. And here's where it gets really good. whatever hobbies or unique things you have about you, if you support others in that, or have other people join you in that having like an event, or something of value for them, that supports what you enjoy and supports them as well. This will bring more and more and more people into your world that are absolutely ideal clients. Sure so and so's uncle may be a realtor. But guess what, you are a fun realtor that likes the same things they do. That is an unbreakable bond. And they are going to refer more people to you in the same community. And pretty soon you have found yourself a niche, a niche, whatever your version of it is, but you have found your people that will continue to refer you because they know like and trust you. And they really, really like your personality or what you do, and what your hobbies are. When you tie in your personality when you become your own brand. When you tie in your likes your dislikes, your dreams into the business, you no longer are just the realtor, just all about the real estate facts, and the just solds just listed, you now are able to do more of what you love more of what you enjoy. While marketing your business. If you're tying it all in, and it's incorporated in everything, it's now a part of your business. Every time you're doing something you enjoy. Let's say you love traveling like I do. Every time you're traveling, people seeing you travel, they see that and they still remember oh yeah, she's a realtor that is so awesome. Or maybe you love fitness, or maybe love horses, or maybe you love interior decorating, whatever it is become that brand, share that brand. You are a realtor, and you have hobbies, skills, all of the other dreams that you have with being a realtor, it doesn't have to be two separate things. It doesn't have to be your business page and your personal page. I want to see everything together because that is so much more interesting. The whole idea of business versus life, keeping those separate is very like 2013 to me, like it's very old school. And I understand what they were thinking like, I want to show that this is just me, I'm just all about business. And there is probably a clientele that is like that that wants someone who is only going to show that they are doing real estate 100% of the time. But I very much believed because I know and I've experienced it and lived it. And I do it. There's so many more people and that are better clients, ideal clients, people that will love you and be loyal to you and give you so many referrals. The ones that see, you are more than just a realtor. You're not just doing real estate 24/7 They know you're doing real estate and that you're doing awesome and that they want to work with you. But they also like to see what other things do you enjoy what other things can I support you on what other passions Do you have? The best part in all of this is that this is how you're stopping burnout. This is how you are still being true to yourself. You're being true to your dreams. you're accomplishing so much more You're, and you're going to be successful in your business. You're enjoying your business, you're loving your business, and you're enjoying and loving your life. And you're living your life and you're being true and authentic to you and to others. So who do you want to be beyond real estate? It can tie all together in real estate. But really, what other things do you want to do? What other dreams do you have? What other goals can you pursue, while still accomplishing your real estate goals, just by adding in other goals and other dreams, it's not going to hinder your progress in real estate. All of it can happen at once. All of it can happen together, and it can all help each other as well. I think of it like this ecosystem of your goals and dreams, business and lifestyle. It's not versus it's not business versus lifestyle. It's business and lifestyle, goals and dreams, this beautiful ecosystem, where each of your real estate goals and dreams is helping you with your goals and dreams outside of real estate. And each goal and dream that you have outside of real estate is helping you with your real estate. They all have a purpose in your life, and they all help each other. It's nothing that is taking away from one another. They're all necessary and they're all necessary for balance, the lifestyle goals and the business goals. It's all about balance and creating that ecosystem for your greatest success.
